The purpose of this app is demonstrating the possible uses of beacons based on Sylvania innovative solutions as well as industry standard beacons.
At startup he app reads a database of configured beacons from the cloud; on account of system settings, the app listens for configured beacons in the background, then triggers a specific behavior when a user approaches one of the registered beacons.
Trigger distance, as well as behaviors (popup a text message, show an image, open a web page), can be set by the system administrator.
The app works with iBeacon, Estimote beacons and Casambi beacons.
